To make participation in Give or Get easier, we are rolling out the Bnei Akiva Schools SCRIPP Dollars program. SCRIPP Dollars are used the same as gift certificates. You will receive a 4% credit to your Give or Get commitment for each SCRIPP dollar you buy. By changing the way in which you pay for ordinary purchases you will be able to achieve your "give or get" commitment - without the expenditure of additional funds.

We have signed up a representative cross section of Canadian Retailers, and we are actively pursuing signing up more. If you know of any others that may be willing to participate, please do not hesitate to call me. The program will work in the following way:

1. On a regular basis (we recommend every two weeks) decide in advance if you will need services from the SCRIPP Dollar retailers. Fill out the attached form, and send it with your cheque to the school office. You may download additional copies of the form from our website: www.orchaim-ulpana.com. Credit card orders may be called into 416-630-6772 (ext 34) or faxed to 416-398-5711. There is an additional 1.5% processing fee for credit card orders. The processing fee will be a separate charge to your credit card and a tax receipt will be issued for the amount.

2. You will be mailed your SCRIPP Dollars, or alternatively an envelope will be sent home with your son or daughter.

Our objective with this program is to give you a chance to fulfill your commitment without additional expenditure of funds. For the school year, the SCRIPP Dollar program is a voluntary way of fulfilling your Give or Get commitment. We will also be pursuing other alternatives for you to meet your Give or Get commitment.
